Without warning, your baby is now waking more during the night 1-3am.

Babies can wake in the night to practice their new skills (developmental leap time) like (rolling, rocking, crawling, pulling themselves up or babbling). They may notice shadows, sounds, or getting stuck standing, and don't know how to get themselves back down.

Be careful not to rush in and try to fix it by introducing old or new props. If your baby has learned how to fall asleep and get back to sleep on their own, then this minor glitch will pass and things will go back to normal in a couple of days.

It's so important to use the day as a time for practising these new skills (create muscle memory), so babies can spend their nights sleeping.
